A ESTATÍSTICA NOS LIVROS DIDÁTICOS DE ENSINO MÉDIO<br>STATISTICS IN BRAZILIAN'S HIGH SCHOOL BOOKS

Resumo: Este artigo discute os resultados de uma pesquisa de Iniciação Científica  sobre a abordagem feita pelos livros didáticos de matemática quanto às noções estatísticas. O objetivo foi identificar elementos para o desenvolvimento do letramento estatístico nos alunos do Ensino Médio, por meio do estudo da organização praxeológica presente em uma coleção. Ao aprofundarmos nossa análise sobre a seleção e abordagem dos conteúdos, percebemos algumas lacunas que não ajudam no desenvolvimento do letramento estatístico. Inferimos que a coleção analisada permite ao aluno atingir apenas o nível cultural de letramento estatístico.

Abstract: This article discusses the results of an undergraduate research on the approach adopted by mathematics textbooks about statistics notions. The objective was to recognize elements for the development of statistical literacy with high school students through the study of praxeological organization present in a collection. While deepen our analysis of the selection and content approach, we recognized some gaps that puzzles the development of statistical literacy. We concluded that the analyzed collection allows students only to fulfill a basic level of statistical literacy.
