Focus And Scope

FronteiraZ carries, from its very name, that what it means, i.e., a demarcation line between literary territories which question the strictness of fixed limits. Its focus lies on the movement of poetic forms – whether prose or poetry – in their multiplicity of interfaces encompassing both classic and contemporary literature. Edited by the Programa de Estudos Literários em Literatura e Crítica Literária da PUCSP [PUCSP Literary Studies of Literature and Literary Criticism Program], it started in 2008, as the result of studies developed by the “The narrator and the frontiers of the narrative” Research Group. It aims at publishing articles related to the fields of literature and literary criticism, based on thematic areas proposed for each issue, written by faculty and postgraduate students from national and international institutions. The journal is published biannually.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts in accordance with the journal guidelines are peer-reviewed by two members of the Editorial Board, who will be assisted, if necessary, by ad hoc referees. In the event of inconsistency in the evaluation, a third referee should be called in. Upon completion of the refereeing process, copies of the reviews will be sent to the authors with directions for changes, if necessary.

Manuscripts that do not follow the journal requirements will be returned to their authors.

Authors are fully responsible for data and concepts expressed in their papers, as well as for the preciseness of references and bibliography.
