Literatura e psicanálise: reflexões

Abstract

This article focuses on some aspects of the relationship between psychoanalysis and literature. Amongst them: a) Freud’s ambiguities towards the artist, which is sometimes praised as an ally of the analyst, and sometimes viewed as a mystifier; b) the analogies and affinities between literary and analytical procedures; c) scattered commentaries about some ways of understanding literature from a psychoanalytical point of view.
