Abstract

It is intended to analyze the effects of impacts caused by World War II (1939-1945) in the form and in the language of the poems “Cidade Prevista” and “Telegrama de Moscou”, from the book A rosa do povo (1945), and “Lembrança do mundo antigo”, from the book Sentimento do mundo (1940), both written by Carlos Drummond de Andrade. It is also intended to see the relations between those impacts and the ethical behavior of resistance and utopia explicitly shown by the poetic voice.
