Literatura e psicanálise: reflexões

Abstract

This article focuses on some aspects of the relationship between psychoanalysis and literature. Amongst them, a) Freud’s ambiguities towards the artist, which is sometimes praised as an ally of the analyst, and sometimes viewed as a mystifier; b) the analogies and affinities between literary and analytical procedures; c) scattered commentaries about some ways of understanding literature from a psychoanalytical point of view.
