The poetry to Giorgio Agamben
Keywords:
Poetry, Giorgio Agamben, Italian categories, DivisionAbstract
This article seeks to discuss how Giorgio Agamben builds the idea of poetry. To accomplish it, it departs from the elaboration of the “Italian categories”, going through the relation between Furio Jesi’s “mythological machine” and Agamben’s “critical mythology”, to reach the “End of the poem” and “the End of the thought”. These considerations lead us to ponder the place of poetry and, above all, its relationship with philosophy; or rather; how the possibility of poetry stands in the historical division between poetry and philosophy.Downloads
