Abstract

This text contextualizes and analyzes artworks present in the Artéria 8 website (www.nomuque.net/arteria8), created in 2003 by Omar Khouri and Fabio Oliveira Nunes with the participation of different Brazilian authors. Many of the artworks present in the digital publication inspire reflections about intersemiotic translation, as they come from other media. When these artworks are inserted in the context of hypermedia, specificities of the digital medium and especially interactive openings are at stake. To discuss the themes, we will turn to Julio Plaza in “Tradução Intersemiótica” and “Arte e interatividade: autor-obra-recepção”, as well as other authors, analyzing artworks such as “TV” by Plaza, “Sem título”, by Décio Pignatari, “Cresce”, by Arnaldo Antunes and “Móbile 3”, by Silvia Laurentiz. These reflections allow us to understand more specific nuances in the interaction with creations analyzed.

Fábio Oliveira Nunes, Instituto de Artes da Universidade Estadual Paulista

Fabio Oliveira Nunes (ou Fabio FON) é artista experimental e pesquisador voltado a linguagens contemporâneas, atuando sobre arte experimental, poéticas da visualidade e arte-tecnologia. É Doutor em Artes na Escola de Comunicações e Artes da USP com pós-doutorado em Artes no Instituto de Artes da UNESP e Mestre em Multimeios (Multimídia) na UNICAMP. É pesquisador do grupo cAt: ciência/ARTE/Tecnologia do Instituto de Artes da UNESP.
