Abstract

This work aims to investigate the relationship built in Celebração dos elementos, by Henriqueta Lisboa, with regard to Literature, Anthropology and Psychoanalysis. To study the poetic text in question, the theoretical-methodological apparatus of rites of passage and Jungian alchemy will be applied, since such a relationship and process take place as individual gets to know himself and goes through stages during his life, life in contact with others, with human and social nature. Thus, the natural elements (water, air, fire and earth) are themes and images present in the poems in Celebração dos elementos and, above all, they represent the entire symbolic and significant conception of the literary text, besides that, they represent the extension of life subjective, therefore, of Henriqueta Lisboa herself, in the act of creation. Furthermore, authors such as Arnold Van Gennep (2014), Carl Gustav Jung (2018), Gaston Bachelard (1998), among others, will be used.
