UMA PROPOSTA TEÓRICA PARA OS ESTUDOS E INVESTIGAÇÕES EM HISTÓRIA DAS INSTITUIÇÕES CIENTÍFICAS

O trabalho reflete sobre a problemática conceitual dos campos da Memória e História das Instituições Científicas. Aborda as relações entre os conceitos de Memória Coletiva / Social (Halbwachs, Pollak), História (Joutard, Le Goff e Carr), discurso (Pecheux, Foucault e Orlandi), entendendo as relações de poderes e saberes como práticas sociais e institucionais que são, histórica e socialmente constituídas. Foca também as relações entre linguagem (Bakhtin), discurso e a produção documental das instituições como gênero discursivo (Bakhtin). Para tal abordagem, ancora-se nos seguintes referenciais; 1) aprofundamento dos conceitos e das relações entre Memória Social, História e Discurso; 2) interface com o materialismo histórico nos estudos da linguagem; 3) aspectos centrais da Análise de Discurso da vertente francesa; 4) as redes de memórias, a produção historiográfica, o discurso institucional e suas relações com os registros documentais e com os silenciamentos institucionais e 5) a constante relação entre memórias e poderes, considerando-se que, na institucionalização dos saberes e das práticas, há um constante jogo político-discursivo de atores sociais nos processos de consolidação de saberes nas instituições. Pretende-se contribuir para o fortalecimento da dimensão epistemológica das investigações que tratam da história das instituições científicas.

Abstract

The paper reflects on the conceptual problematic of the fields of Memory and History of Scientific Institutions. It addresses the relations between the concepts of Collective / Social Memory (Halbwachs and Pollak), History (Joutard, Le Goff and Carr), discourse (Pecheux, Foucault and Orlandi), understanding the relations of powers and knowledge as social and institutional practices that are, historically and socially constituted. It also focuses on the relations between language (Bakhtin), discourse, and the documentary production of institutions as discursive genre (Bakhtin). For such an approach, it is anchored in the following references; 1) deepening the concepts and relationships between Social Memory, History and Discourse; 2) interface with historical materialism in language studies; 3) central aspects of Discourse Analysis of the French part; 4) networks of memories, historiographic production, institutional discourse and its relations with documentary records and with institutional silencers, and 5) the constant relationship between memories and powers, considering that in the institutionalization of knowledge and practices, there is a constant political-discursive game of social actors in the processes of consolidation of knowledge in institutions. It is intended to contribute to the strengthening of the epistemological dimension of the investigations that deal with the history of scientific institutions.
