The recent advances on neurosciences about the reading processing demonstrate that neurons of the occipito-temporal ventral region of the left hemisphere must be recycled in order to learn how to recognize the written word. Neurosciences findings about the reading processing help us understanding the initial difficulties children are faced at when trying to learn the letters features; they also illuminate the difference between children with those difficulties and dyslexic ones.Downloads
