Abstract

This work reports on a brief study whose aim was putting into practice some of the concepts about linguistic output developed by some authors, under the principles of Focus-on-Form Instruction through collaborative dialogue. The study demonstrated the ability of low-proficient EFL learners in a Brazilian state school to develop their autonomy and attention to form through a process of self-correction of their written production, by means of a collaborative dialogue with their peers.
