Abstract

The Workers’ Party changed its social insertion and, in association with the domestic bourgeoisie, is leading a government that is closely tied to the hegemony of imperialist capital, especially those sectors oriented toward more speculative activities. It is not a party of the right, but it tends toward the right and, if the hegemony of those factions most oriented toward rentierism is revitalized, it may adopt more repressive policies toward labor and popular forces.
