Abstract

The increasing incorporation of women into the labor market is not a novelty in Argentina, nor is the fact that the women who do the unskilled work engage in what has been called the “triple workday.” This article investigates, explores and compares the survival strategies utilized by popular sector women during the last two decades, observing how the women interviewed generate resources for survival and social mobility.
