Abstract

The author discusses the transformations occurring in small farms of the agroindustrial sector, located in western Santa Catarina, inserted in the system integration of BrasilFoods, linked to poultry family-farming. The greater presence of women in production, as opposed to an equal social and sexual division of labor, accentuates inequality at the same time that it deepens the precariousness of female work.
