Abstract

In Latin America we see national projectspromoted by social movements andgovernments that purport to be anti-systemic.Several of the former and at least two of thelatter have a strong indigenist component. Withthe goal of contributing to the study of therelationship between nationalism and antiimperialismin the subcontinent, we undertake inthis article a preliminary analysis of an importantbook by José Carlos Mariátegui.
