The Communist Manifesto is the programme of the proletariat revolution. In itself, the workers' instinctive struggle cannot defeat the capitalists. It is necessary that this class instinct becomes class awareness. The Manifesto appeared responding to the need for creating the communist party. The party's place in history is to unite all those who understand the functioning laws of capitalism and who handle the method of historical materialism, in terms of social struggle and of the revolutionary class, the workers.
