Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the necessary unity of the concepts of race and class for thestruggle of Brazilian workers, including the struggle of the black population, with its specificities,briefly examining how race and class have been used to exploit and oppress the workingclass as a whole. In this analysis we also discuss the use of Marxism as an important tool inthe struggle of the exploited and oppressed classes, as well as how to think of racism as afundamental instrument of bourgeois domination.
