Abstract

This article presents an analysis of some of the political and social struggles in the Greater Middle East region in the last twenty years, passing through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the centrality of the Palestinian Question and U.S. foreign policy toward the region, which favored the creation of terrorist groups and impeded any victory of an authentic revolutionary movement during the so-called “Arab Spring.”
