Abstract

This essay discusses the problems of the short circuiting of political emancipation. It uses Hegels’s formulation to present the absolute limits of the ideal of political emancipation within the framework of the State. It returns to Marx’s original thought and his radical idea of the transcendence of the political seizure of power and the state as a point of departure for human emancipation.
