Abstract

On this one hundredth anniversary of the Russian Revolution it is worth highlighting what that event signified for women. The qualitative leap represented by the policy measures taken, as soon as the power of the Soviets was established, was only accomplished in other parts of the world gradually and with many struggles after much time and had passed, and in some parts has not yet been accomplished at all.
