Abstract

This article presents a brief analysis of the antiliberal nationalist upsurge in Hungary after the 1990s in light of the Gramscian concept of hegemony, highlighting, at the political level, the role of discursive production in the formation of the transitional class and, at the economic and social level, the role of educational policy.
