Abstract

Through content analysis and a theoretical discussion, supported by the WordClouds software, this work aims to present an in-depth analysis of the Discourse on the Matteotti Affair, given by Mussolini on the eve of the coup, as well as its unpublished translation into Portuguese. Placing the discourse in dialogue with authors such as Pachukanis it will be possible to understand the particularities and key elements of an essential ephemeris of fascism, contributing to the studies of the theme. In the end, the main traits of this moment of the movement can be perceived – in which authoritarianism stands out – which does not necessarily remain stagnant in subsequent moments; reinforcing the thesis that there was not only one Fascism, but Fascisms.

Doutorando em Comunicação pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Brasil. Sua pesquisa e produção artística são focadas na relação entre literatura e política, tangenciando temas como teoria política, literatura política, fascismo, extrema-direita, judaísmo, antissemitismo e a obra de Sylvia Serafim Thibau.
