Construindo perspectivas: tendências teóricas do campo da Educação Matemática

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar atuais aportes teóricos utilizados na Educação Matemática e como eles auxiliam na constituição do campo da Educação Matemática. A aprendizagem da matemática tem sido alvo de discussão e interesse de vários pesquisadores, cada qual seguindo diferentes pontos de vistas. Entretanto, existem diversos tipos de teorias, cada uma com suas particularidades e essa diversidade, por ora, auxilia à área científica e por vezes torna-se um dilema para o pesquisador que, diante de tantas opções, não sabe ao certo que caminho percorrer. Com a finalidade de favorecer esse entendimento será apresentado uma breve análise de alguns construtos teóricos. Ao longo de leituras e estudos dos textos ficou evidente que não existe uma única teoria para a Educação Matemática, mas sim diversas teorias que são aportes para a construção da área da Educação Matemática.

Abstract

This article aims to present what are the current theoretical contributions used in mathematics education and how these references help in the constitution of the field of mathematics education. The learning of mathematics has been the subject of discussion and interest of several researchers, each following different points of view. However, there are several types of theories, each with its own particularities and this diversity for the time being helps the scientific area and sometimes becomes a dilemma for the researcher who, given so many options, is not sure which way to go. In order to promote this understanding, a brief analysis of some theoretical constructs will be presented. Throughout readings and studies of the texts it became evident that there is not a single theory for mathematical education, but distinct theories that are contributions to the construction of the area of mathematical education.
