Asociación entre tiempo de pantalla y emociones en niños

El tiempo que los niños pasan frente a las pantallas ha aumentado en los últimos años; como resultado, las interacciones sociales cara a cara han cambiado. Sin embargo, pocos estudios han investigado la asociación entre Screen Time y sus efectos emocionales en los niños. Con una alta exposición a Screen Time, surgió la necesidad de comprender cómo se ha discutido el tema en la literatura científica. Por lo tanto, se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura, en la que se seleccionaron 11 artículos, luego del refinamiento de las búsquedas en la plataforma de publicaciones científicas de la CAPES. Con base en la estructura recomendada por los Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Met-analyses: The PRISMA Statement, se realizó el CHECK-LIST y el análisis de contenido mediante el software IraMuTeQ, obteniendo una Nube de Palabras y un Análisis de Similitudes. Posteriormente, a través de los artículos analizados, se pudo ver cómo los factores Sexo del niño, Ingresos de los padres y los diferentes tipos de pantalla provocan efectos emocionales en el público infantil propuesto en una literatura internacional en lengua inglesa.
