The text discusses the importance of research protocols in management case studies, highlighting that case studies are essential for understanding complex phenomena in authentic contexts. These studies present challenges such as generalization of results and researcher bias. To mitigate these problems, it is essential to develop a well-structured protocol that serves as a systematic guide, providing direction and clarity during all stages of the research. The protocol should include clear objectives, study design, data collection methods, and data analysis and validation procedures. By ensuring rigor and transparency, the protocol contributes to the credibility of the findings and their impact on organizational practice, promoting greater consistency in management research. Therefore, investing in constructing robust protocols is vital for researchers seeking to conduct high-quality studies.
