INTERPRETATION OF COPING PROCESS IN ADVERSE ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXTS

The movement of positive psychology states that people are able to carry out a human process of coping in front of adverse situations of life. As a result they reshape the meaning of adversity and moving forward strengthened. In this paper, of bibliographical character, were used the concepts involved in this process - risk, vulnerability, and protective factors (coping and buffers) - to understand how humans cope with adverse situations is experienced in the organizational context. As a result, an interpretive scheme of this process is showed, since it is a theoretical insight can guide a research strategy on the issue in qualitative investigations.Metrics
