Analyzing how Religious Education is experienced at the José Bonifácio School, located in the Community of Cria-ú, in the state of Amapá, this article seeks to problematize the pedagogical practice of the aforementioned subject in the context of a quilombola community. This is a qualitative research and its method is the ethnographic case study. The collaborators were the teachers from 1st to 5th and 6th and 7th grade of elementary school. The results indicate that the practice with the Religious Teaching is of confessional character where the Christian worldview is prioritized, not considering the cultural and religious specificities of the local community.Downloads
