History Workshop: learning, memory and historical heritage.
Keywords:
teaching, memory, historic heritage, material culture.Abstract
This article explains the path of reflections on themes about Education, History and Heritage, developed in a short course form at ANPUH (2009) and as a workshop in the lato-sensu History course at PUC / SP (2010). By reading and analyzing texts and other documents it reflects about the need to think Histories, Memories and Heritage in a plural way, with special attention to the process of dispute among different views, stressing that official version tries to eliminate the appearance of other histories. It raises issues about the teaching practice, research and history teaching that underlie different conceptions of learning, memory and historical heritage. The article also points out the relations between those conceptions and different projects of society, seeking to understand the active production process of historical memory and forgetting.Downloads
