Abstract

In this sixteenth issue of TECCOGS, we offer the reader texts written by researchers in partnership with their stricto sensu students. The subject is: Emerging themes in online education. To brighten this issue, we present an interview with Professor Edméa Oliveira dos Santos, a personality of great expression in the academic field. With a post-doctorate in E-Learning from UAB in Portugal, she works as a professor at the School of Education at UERJ and as a researcher for the Graduate Program in Education. Professor Edméa's interview reveals aspects of her professional journey as well as rich comments on concepts pertinent to cyberculture and distance education. The interview was recorded from an oral account and transcribed by Werley Carlos de Oliveira, PhD student at TIDD, and for this reason maintains a colloquial language, pleasant to read. [...].
