La luz, el castillo y el sueño en la espiritualidad de los textos aljamiados

Resumo

Se analizan tres metáforas teológico-místicas: la luz, el alma como castillo y el sueño espiritual, en clave esotérica, tal y como aparecen en textos aljamiados (redactados en español transcrito en alfabeto árabe) del siglo XVI. Intentamos establecer la tradición islámica a la que pertenecen. También establecemos paralelos entre el motivo del alma como castillo en el pasaje aljamiado y la literatura mística de santa Teresa de Jesús. Los conocimientos de la mística islámica que conservaron los moriscos según revelan sus textos clandestinos pueden revelarnos posibles conexiones con la mística española. Y, más aún, son prueba fehaciente de cuánto atesoraba la comunidad morisca su identidad islámica y los saberes de sus antepasados, que se esforzaban por preservar a riesgo de sus vidas.
