A narrativa transmidiática no jogo eletrônico Overwatch

This work points out some aspects of the narrative of electronic games regarding the specificities related to narratives being told through different media. We will use as a methodological support the transmedia narrative proposed by the author Henry Jenkins, believing that it is a theory in tune with the discussions about how media and technology impacted the way of telling stories, specifically when it comes to narrative in electronic games. Through a brief analysis of how the narrative is constructed in Blizzard Entertainment's multiplayer online video game Overwatch (2016), this work demonstrates how this narrative is available in different mediums and how transmedia storytelling works.
