Abstract

ABSTRACT The Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) occours due to a defect, silencing or deletion of critical strain on the patern cromossome in loci 15q11-12 and is clinically presented by food hunting, hyperfagia and morbidity obesity during childhood. This article reports a clinical case of an adolescent with PWS admitted on a medical Spa for obesity treatment and offers a brief review for the key points of syndrome, its diagnosis and last updates on the clinical support.
