Abstract

This study aimed to map available scientific evidence on the impact of leadership on psychological safety in the context of organizational work. A scoping review was performed following the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute. The databases Web of Science, Scopus, PsycINFO were consulted. The final corpus consisted of 17 articles. The results demonstrated the crucial role of leadership in the psychological safety of teams, which emerged at times as an antecedent at times as a mediator of phenomena such as promoting or prohibiting voice, sharing, or concealing knowledge, creativity and innovation, teamwork and learning from mistakes.
