La influencia del comportamiento del líder y el género en la calidad de la relación líder-seguidor y la satisfacción laboral

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar cómo los comportamientos comunales, agentes y andróginos de los líderes influyen en la calidad de la relación líder-seguidor y la satisfacción laboral de los seguidores. También se evaluó si el género – ya sea del líder, del seguidor o de la díada líder-seguidor – interfiere en estos resultados. En la investigación participaron 441 trabajadores. Los resultados mostraron que la calidad de la relación líder-seguidor y la satisfacción laboral son mayores entre los subordinados cuyos líderes exhiben comportamientos comunales y andróginos, en comparación con los líderes agentes. Además, se encontró que el género no afecta significativamente estos resultados. Se discuten las implicaciones de estos resultados.
