Object’s memory – a bakhtinian transposition and some questions about education

Abstract

The text proposes the notion of object memory based on Bakhtin’s cultural theory. The bakhtinian concepts of value, intonation and act are used in the construction of a critical refl exion regarding the role of memory in contemporary culture and its implications in education.
