Abstract

Starting first with a review of some of the key points of Bakhtin's reading of Dostoïevsky, we then present some specific features of dialogism in Dostoïevsky's novels. This leads to conclusions about the generality of the notion of "dialogism" which implies simultaneously a shared world and irreducible differences, heterogeneities both among us and within each of us.
