The course to the other: imagetical and speech relations in readers' letters of pernambuco of the XIX century

Abstract

The text is part of the results obtained in our masters' research, in which the dialogical relation - imagetical and speech relations - present in the linguistic material of readers' letters of Pernambuco of the first half of the XIX century was investigated. The bakhtinian concepts of external image, the experiencing of man's external boundaries and the dialogical relations support this study in order to analyze the speech strategies between the I and the other, constitutive element of the speech.
