The transgressive function of multiple subjects in speech genres
Keywords:
Genre transgression, Subject, Polyphony, Speech genresAbstract
This article proposes a reflection on subject and its functionality in the genre. We reflect on the polyphonic effect in multiple utterances which indicates a transgression of genres. Our arguments are based on ideas on genre, polyphony and subject found in the theories of M. Bakhtin (1988), J. Authier-Revuz (2001) and J. Lacan (1998), and we will demonstrate that the effect of such transgression, caused by polyphony, permits the cohabitation of various language subjects in the discourses.Downloads
