Bakhtin and Freud in Dialogue with Dostoyevsky

Abstract

Our objective is to present a counterpoint of the dialogical ideas with the psychoanalytic ideas. We choose one essay of Bakhtin and another one of Freud who deals with the workmanship of Dostoyevsky; we present the ideas defended in each texts and we comment the point of view adopted in relation with the Dostoyevsky novels. We conclude that for the psychoanalysis the workmanships of Dostoyevsky was a way to give to Dostoyevsky one psychodiagnosis and that for the dialogism it was a medium to comprehend the human social genders.
