Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the concept of the ethos of the enunciator as approached by Fiorin’s work Em busca do sentido: estudos discursivos [In Search of Meaning: Discursive Studies], in order to analyze how the author constructs a theoretical and analytical point of view in the field of Discursive Semiotics, taking into consideration Rhetoric and Discourse Analysis studies on ethos.
