GeoGebra as a support tool in Mathematics teaching
a bibliometric review

This article presents the results of a Bibliometric Review on GeoGebra software applications identified in the Scopus database. The search was conducted using the descriptors “teaching”, “mathematics”, “geogebra” and “software” in the titles, abstracts and keywords, limited to full articles published in English and Portuguese. The search results were compiled and processed using Biblioshiny, identifying 126 articles on the subject, distributed in several areas, especially in Social Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, with an annual growth rate of 12.58%, considering the horizon from 2007 to 2024. The countries with the highest publication rate were Turkey, Brazil, Spain and Malaysia. The most cited authors and keyword cooccurrence networks were also identified. The main themes addressed in the works were “geometry”, “open source software” and “algebra”.
