Abstract

A presente pesquisa, qualitativa de cunho etnográfico, tem como principal objetivo promover reflexões sobre questões identitárias no âmbito da formação de professores de língua inglesa. O estudo está fundamentado em uma perspectiva sociocultural, reflexiva e de construção identitária, a qual permite evidenciar e discutir a(s) identidade(s) de ser professor que aflora ao longo do processo de educação inicial do professor, trazendo contribuições significativas para a área de ensino de língua inglesa e, mais especificamente, para a formação do professor.

Selma Maria Abdalla Dias Barbosa, UFT, Tocantins, Brasil

Selma Maria Abdalla Dias Barbosa is an adjunct professor in the area of English language teaching and supervised curricular internships in Foreign Language, from UFT - Federal University of Tocantins, where she works in the Postgraduate Program in Language and Literature Teaching and Profletras. Her research interests are: Identity construction of language teachers, Language and Social Practices, Teaching and Learning of LE \ L2 and Community of Practice in virtual environments - CdP.

Patricia Fabiana Bedran, UNESP/IBILCE

Patrícia Fabiana Bedran is a lecturer in the Education Department of UNESP / IBILCE, where she works in the area of Applied Linguistics and Supervised Curricular Internships in Mother Tongue. She is vice-leader of the Research Group GESFOPLE - Group of Sociocultural Studies in the Formation of Teachers of Foreign Language. Her research interests are: Communities of Practice and Training of Language Teachers; Teaching of Mother-tongue and Foreign Language Mediated by Technology - Digital Literacy and Beliefs and Language Teaching
