Abstract

In this article, it is examined the ways children and youth take into consideration literary texts in the contemporary society. The literary books as well as the material elements are
observed at the light of the historical context from which they emerged. It is also observed how the changes and maintenances are regarded in relation to material aspects of the printing. Besides, it is relevant the understanding concerning the printing market, whose focus is often on the reader, a very important character in the history of reading.
