Contando um causo também se aprende a falar: a inserção da literatura no ensino-aprendizagem de Língua Portuguesa

The institution Universidade de Integração Latino-Americana (UNILA) annually receives students from several countries of Latin America in order toattend college. The difficulties faced by the students, especial on the poor performance atreading, text interpretation and production activities, reveal a deep concern about the continental education situation – the students “leftschool” with a huge deficiton Reading and writing abilities. During the academic routine off oreign students inside UNILA, this reality is aggravated by the difficulty of learning na additional language, because the text comprehension, even on their own languages, is insufficient. Based on this scenery, there search group Interfaces dos processos e objetos de ensino-aprendizagem de Português e Espanhol como línguas estrangeira e adicional (IPOELEA) intends to investigate didactic-pedagogical possibilities that enrich the instruction and learning of Portuguese and Spanish. On the specific case of this article, the purpose was to develop a didactic sequence, created by the textual genre causo, in order to increase the students reading and writing abilities and to make possible an intercultural dialogue on Portuguese additional language instruction.Downloads
