Contemporary signs and support: notes about Children’s and Young Adult Literature
Keywords:
Reader, Literature for young readers, Support and contemporary sign systemAbstract
The current world design – in view of technological and paradigmatic revolutions – has encouraged constand inquiries. In this context, Children’s and Young Adult Literature tries to create new interfaces with Education, a challenge that calls for an investigation of theoretical and methodological aspects ancillary to the development of an aesthetic and critical reception which can be more adequate for the contemporary reader. In the light of these presuppositions, this article aims at identifying some aspects of the contemporary production for children and young adults concerning themes, support and narrative structure. The perspective of comparative literature allows us to outline reading modes that can contribute to the development of a more adequate aesthetic and critical reception by our budding-readers.Downloads
