Abstract

In a conjuncture marked by the rise of progressive governments in Latin America, the project “Citizen Revolution” was included the permanent abandon of policies dictated by the IMF, World Bank and Washington Consensus. Ten years later, the economic and political stage internationally and Ecuadorian places this project in a crucial stage. Either the process deepens and acquires a revolutionary profile or it is limited to reformism.
