The method consists of a synchronic approach of The Scripture, developed from the analysis world literature texts as narratives and with attention on the reader, considering the effect of the narrative through the narration disposition. It will be presented briefly the method of the narrative analysis from Daniel Marguerat and Jean-Louis Ska, clarifying main concepts. Then, it will be applied the method to the text of John 12, 1-8, delimiting the pericope, realizing the moments that constitute the exhibition or the initial situation, the node (inciting moment), the complication or the transforming action, the outcome and the conclusion or the final situation. After the approach of the biblical text, it will be made a theological reflection from the elements that the method offers: the action of the characters, the focus, the outcome of the plot, the formation of the implicity reader and the message that the narrative proposes to current listeners of the fourth gospel.
