Abstract

This paper takes, as paradigmatic figure of the issue of freedom of spirit, the Philosopher and Carmelite Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein). Highlights key moments of their life, intellectual and spiritual journey (itineraries that are closely intertwined) where it appears more evident the fertility that generates the loyalty delivery of personals intuitions. The binomial «Meaning and strength», pointed out by Edith Stein is presented as a key to understanding his life story, in which the conquest and delivery of freedom end up being the key moments of a dialectic in which found peace her passionate personal quest. Some dramatic categories are applied to facilitate the interpretation of the theme.
