The Poetry as intuitive way of Thelological Thinking

Abstract

This paper aims to present, from the categories of Benedetto Croce’s thought, as poetry is able to grasp the truth of things intuitively and thereby is catch to imagination to critical thinking. The application of this intuitive form of theological thought will be forthcoming in Cantico delle creature of Saint Francis of Assisi, a text of considerable importance for Italian Literature and source of inspiration for Saint Bonaventure’s Theology.
