This paper investigates the presence of cosmogonic elements in Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, seeking to establish bridges between contemporary literature and ancient myths. Based on a theoretical framework that includes authors such as Mircea Eliade (2020), Northrop Frye (2014), Joseph Campbell (2024) and Adam Roberts (2018), the study analyzes how myth, as a narrative structure, influences the construction of literary texts, even in apparently distant genres such as science fiction. By comparing Hesiod's Theogony, Ovid's Metamorphoses and Fahrenheit 451, the paper demonstrates how the cosmogonic cycle – creation, transformation, decay and recreation – manifests itself in Bradbury's work. The study demonstrates the permanence of myths and their ability to adapt to different historical and cultural contexts.
